Uniting Leaders, Transforming Communities
Mark Jackson
Don't let Mark's calm demeanour fool you; beneath that composed exterior lies a man with a need for speed, not just in his leadership style but also on the racetrack! When he's not decoding X-rays, you'll find him expertly flipping burgers or towing things with the finesse of a seasoned pro.
Mark's Rotary journey began back when rotary phones were still a thing (okay, maybe not that far back, but close enough!), and since then, he's held more board positions than a game of Monopoly. He's the driving force behind projects like "Educating Cambodia" and "Cars and Coffee", where he's not just supporting others, he's probably dreaming of the next hairpin turn.
Linda Jackson
our Services Director with a heart as big as her playlist on triple J! When she's not jamming out to the latest indie tunes, she's cooking up a storm in the kitchen faster than you can say 'spaghetti bolognese'.
Linda's not just about the beats; she's also the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating mouthwatering meals for club and community events with the finesse of a Michelin-star chef. Need someone to whip up a feast for your next gathering? Linda's got you covered, with a side of impeccable organisation and collaboration skills.
But it's not all about food for Linda, she's also the queen of youth projects, especially when it comes to youth exchange and Educating Cambodia. With her unwavering support for the younger generation, she's like the cool aunt everyone wishes they had.
Mharc McCabe
With a tool belt strapped on tighter than his favourite pair of jeans, Mharc's not just a builder by trade, he's the guy who can knock down walls before you can say 'open concept living'.
You'll often catch him elbow-deep in hands-on projects, whether it's repairing, fixing, or communicating with the doers in the community. Mharc's motto? "Achieve greatness, especially when no one's watching!"
He's the kind of bloke who can turn a pile of bricks into a masterpiece while humming a tune from his favourite local history book. When he's not swinging a hammer, you'll find him jotting down his latest cruise adventures or spinning tales that would make Banjo Patterson proud.
